Edgar Arroyo, age 30, passed away tragically, Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago.

Born July 19, 1995, in Chicago, he was the beloved son of Martín and Patricia (Valdes) Arroyo.
A loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle and cousin, Edgar will be forever missed by his loving family, and no one will ever take his place.

Edgar enjoyed playing baseball with his boys and found great joy in reading during his quiet moments.
He will be remembered for his joy and enthusiasm, qualities that left a mark on everyone who knew him.
Surviving are his children, Julian, Joel, and Ana Elena; his parents, Martín and Patricia of Plainfield; his brothers, Eduardo and Kevin; his niece, Leilani; his grandparents; many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation for Edgar Arroyo will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. IL Route 59, Plainfield, IL, for mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Plainfield Township Cemetery.
