Lynne A. Weigerding

Passed away at age 66, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in Joliet, IL. She was born in Melrose Park, IL, raised in Romeoville, and was a longtime Willowbrook and Joliet area resident.

She is survived by her daughters, Kaitlynne (Greg) Esposito of Downers Grove, IL and Heather Weigerding of Rockdale, IL; son, Zechariah Weigerding of Fairbanks, AK; adoring grandchildren, Lucas Esposito and Morgan Weigerding; sister, Amy Whenner of Joliet, IL; brother, LeRoy Busse, Jr.of Joliet, IL; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Lori) Weigerding of Sandwich, IL; sister-in-law, Kathy (Carl) Kolb of Manito, IL. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Mary Lou (nee Stanley) Busse; and her dear husband of 28 years, Kevin W. Weigerding.

Lynne was formerly employed by Septran Bus Services. She loved to knit and cook for her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Visitation for Lynne A. Weigerding will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to time of services at 11:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. Inurnment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL
