Obituary: Robert E. Heger

Robert (Bob) E. Heger, 78 of Romeoville, Illinois passed away at home on December 31, 2014. He was born in Decatur, IL on October 30, 1936. Bob was the youngest of 15 children. Bob served six years in the Army and was awarded the marksman (rifle) commendation. Bob married the love of his life, Annette (nee Boulware), on November 19, 1969. They shared 45 wonderful years together. Bob drove for DuPage Motor Coach for 15 years and worked at Lisle Jr. and Sr. High Schools as a custodian for 17 years. He retired from the schools in July 2006. Bob was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Oak Brook, IL.

He is survived by his wife Annette; four daughters - Vicki, Dorinda, Glenda and Lisa; two sons - Bruce and Troy; two sisters - Theresa and Rita; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons - Donnie and Bill; eight brothers and four sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held for Bob on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, 3724 N. Washington, Oak Brook, IL 60523. Pastor Tim Sisk will be presiding. Interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, in Elwood, IL at a date yet to be determined.
