One Lane Closed On Route 53 Between McKool, Murphy

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Southbound Route 53 will have one lane closed from McKool to Murphy for tree removal on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Village of Romeoville.

Closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, the Village said.

Crews will be removing trees that are under the power lines between Route 53 and Spangler Road and replacing it with landscaping that will not grow into the lines.
