Operation Christmas Helps Romeoville Families In Need
Find out how to "adopt" a family or to register for holiday help.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The holidays are a time for good cheer and helping others. In Romeoville, that means community members work together to help area families that are struggling financially by providing for holiday gifts and new clothing. The Village of Romeoville is asking those who want to help to sign up to "adopt" a family. Families in need of holiday assistance can also register with the village. Here's how it works:

If you are in need of assistance and would like your family to be adopted by area residents and/or businesses, you may register for the program by registering here. Deadline to register is Nov. 30. No registrations will be taken after this date.

We ask if possible, to purchase at a minimum the following for each family that is adopted:

- 1 new outfit (shirt & pants) for each child ages 12 and under
- 1 clothing gift certificate in the amount of $30 for each child 13-18
- 1 new toy for each child 12 and under
- 1 gift certificate for $20 for each child 13-18
