Over 1,100 Customers Without Power In Romeoville After Wednesday's Severe Weather
On its website, ComEd said crews are working to restore outages across the Chicago area.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — After severe weather on Wednesday, almost 1,100 homes remain without power in Romeoville, as of Thursday night.
According to the ComEd outage map, 1,196 customers are affected by power outages, which is 7.97 percent of customers in Romeoville. There are 33 reported outages.
On its website, ComEd said crews are working to restore outages across the Chicago area.

"Based on the history of similar storms of this size, across the ComEd service area, we expect 80 percent of outages to be restored by Saturday, June 13, at 11 p.m.," ComEd said.
The Village of Romeoville said public works crews are out with the chipper service to clear storm debris. Residents can place branches at the curb.

Crews will continue branch pick-up throughout this week and next week to help with cleanup efforts, the Village said.
