Pace Temporarily Combines Bus Routes Due To Low Ridership

The changes will begin May 18 and affect service from Romeoville, Bolingbrook and Plainfield, to Chicago.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville sent out a community alert informing residents that starting Monday, May 18, Pace Bus routes 850, 851 and 855 serving Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Romeoville to Chicago will be temporarily combined and the overall number of trips that are going downtown and back will be reduced due to low ridership during the pandemic.

The implementation of these temporary changes throughout the system will provide greater operational flexibility and social distancing opportunities.
