Parts Of I&M Canal Trail Closed For Shrubbery Trimming
The mower is trimming back shrubbery from the sides of the path from 135th Street south to Second Avenue, the preserve said.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Sections of the I&M Canal Trail are closed from Romeoville to Lockport as a boom mower trims back shrubbery in the area, the Forest Preserve District of Will County said in a release. The work is scheduled to continue through Wednesday.
The mower is trimming back shrubbery from the sides of the path from 135th Street south to Second Avenue, the preserve said.
Trail users are urged to use caution and take note of trail closure signs that will be posted in areas where the mower is cutting, the preserve said. If you come upon a closure sign, turn around. Do not attempt to pass the boom mower.
