Knights of Columbus Bishop Roger Kaffer Council #10944 held its third annual and auction Saturday night.

The sold-out event supported the Knights' outreach efforts and offered up corned beef and cabbage, frozen custard and more — not to mention dancing and auctions.

This year, for the first time, several bagpipers — including a member of the Bolingbrook Firefighters Local 3005 pipe and drum band — showed up to entertain the crowd.

Uncle Bub's of Westmont provided the meal, while of Romeoville provided dessert and provided bread. Numerous businesses donated gift baskets and raffle items.

"The food was great," said Dave Burch of Orland Park.
