Plenty of Events in Store for Romeoville HS Homecoming Week
Homecoming activities kick off Monday, Sept. 12 and last all week.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville High School has slated a full schedule of activities for Homecoming Week Sept. 12-17, including spirit days every day
The Monday, Sept. 12, theme is “Home Sweet Home: Proud to be American.” The evening will include a 6 p.m. Human Foosball and Bags Tournament and a 7:15 p.m. bonfire at a fire pit.
Tuesday, Sept. 13, is a movie day: seniors-- "Lilo and Stitch," juniors-- "Grease," sophomores-- "Ninja Turtles" and freshmen-- "The Avengers." A Pack the Place RHS volleyball game begins at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 14, students are asked to dress up in either country or country club gear. A carnival for students and their families will take place in the field house from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is $1.

Thursday, Sept. 15, is Decade Day with seniors dressing in 1990s gear, juniors in early 2000s clothes, sophomores in 1980s and freshmen in 1970s. The RHS soccer team plays at 4 p.m., while the powder puff football games are set to begin at 7 p.m. with performances by the Marching Band and Boys Cheer. Admission is $1.
Friday, Sept. 16, will include the traditional color wars during the day with seniors in orange, juniors in blue, sophomores in green and freshmen in red. A 1 p.m. student-only pep assembly will precede the 4:30 p.m. junior varsity and 7 p.m. varsity football games.

Saturday, Sept. 17, is the homecoming dance from 7 to 10 p.m. featuring Boom Entertainment. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Students must have an RHS ID to enter the dance. Guest forms must be filled out and approved in advance.
