Poke Bros. Opening In Romeoville In Early 2022

The Hawaiian sushi restaurant will open early next year at 283 S. Weber Road.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Poke Bros., a Hawaiian sushi restaurant, will be opening in Romeoville early next year, the Village shared.

The new business will be located at 283 S. Weber Road, in the same strip mall as Pizza Hut, AT&T, Pop's and Hair Cuttery, Village Administrator Dawn Caldwell said.

The fast casual restaurant will go into an existing 1,300-square-foot building.

Poke Bros. originated in 2015, and has locations in 11 states, according to the business' website. The restaurant offers "sushi in a bowl," which features cubed-cut raw fish mixed in a bowl with rice, vegetables and other tops, according to the business website. The business features a build-your-own approach, so you choose your own poké bowl.

In Illinois, Poke Bros. has locations in Villa Park, Schaumburg, Naperville, Lincolnshire, Lake Bluff, South Elgin, St. Charles, Glenview, Gurnee, Frankfort, Orland Park, Oakbrook Terrace, Aurora and Lake in the Hills.

The business also has several other locations listed as "coming soon" in McHenry, Niles, Shorewood, Burr Ridge, Palatine, Bolingbrook and Bloomingdale.
