Portions Of Centennial Trail Closed For Sealcoating
Portions of the trail in DuPage County will be closed through Wednesday.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The portion of the Centennial Trail maintained by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County will be closed through Wednesday for sealcoating.
According to the Forest Preserve District of Will County, which also maintains portions of the trail, the section of the trail in DuPage County runs from Interstate 355 east to around Route 83.
For those planning to use the Will County portion of the trail, which runs from 135th Street in Romeoville to I-355, they should be aware that once they get to I-355, the path is closed, the preserve said.

The Centennial Trail is 3.26 miles, beginning near Isle a la Cache in Romeoville, and travels along the Des Plaines River, according to the preserve.
