Prostitution, DUI, Retail Theft: Romeoville Blotter

Arrests and incidents occurred between Aug. 21 and Sept. 14.

Contreal Jenkins, 23, of the 2000 block of Tuscany Ln. in Romeoville, was charged with an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of Tuscany Lane.

Sept. 2

Isela Toledo, 24, of the 200 block of Jamestown Ct. in Romeoville, was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, hit and run and driving too fast for conditions. The arrest occurred in the 1500 block of Daylily.

Sept. 7

Laura Burke, 49, of the 6400 block of Happy Canyon Road in Colorado, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of South Weber.

Sept. 9

Amber Duffy, 32, of the 1000 block of William St. in Joliet, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of South Weber.

Michael Armstrong, 48, of the 0-100 block of Harmony Ln. in Romeoville, was charged with driving while license restricted and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of Wesglen Parkway.

A burglary to motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of North Weber Road. Someone took a purse from the trunk of a vehicle that was parked at business.

Sept. 11

Kyle Danniell, 31, of the 22100 block of W. Marshall Dr. in Plainfield, was charged with driving under the influence. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of North Weber.

Silvia Martinez, 33, of the 200 block of Alyssum Ct., was charged with driving under the influence, no insurance, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to notify police of crash. The arrest occurred in the area of Wesglen Parkway and Azalea Circle.

Sept. 12

A theft under $500 was reported in the 500 block of Willow Court. Someone took a package that was delivered by UPS from the porch of the residence. The contents of the package were valued at $110.

Sept. 14

A residential burglary and criminal damage to property were reported in the 300 block of Richmond. Two unknown people damaged a garage door and broke the window of vehicle that was parked in the garage. The homeowner scared away the intruders.
