Purse, Laptop, Jewelry Taken From Unlocked Car; More Graffiti: Romeoville Blotter

Romeoville-area incidents.

Someone entered a home in the 600 block of West Romeo Road March 4 and stole copper pipes, an exhaust fan and other construction materials. The value of the stolen items is unknown.

A purse, shoes, laptop and jewelry were stolen from an unlocked car in the 200 block of Highpoint Drive on March 8. Police estimated the value of the items at $1,660.

An unknown person spray-painted the garage door of a home in the 300 block of Fremont on March 8, causing $50 in damage.

In another criminal defacement, someone drew graffiti on the walls of a home and damage an air conditioner and door frame in the 100 block of Azalea Circle on March 9.

Graffiti was spray-painted on the side of a home in the 300 block of Richmond Drive on March 12.
