Retail Theft, Disorderly Conduct: Romeoville Blotter

Arrests and incidents occurred between Oct. 28 and Nov. 7.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 28

A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Independence. Someone damaged an ATM and cash register and took approximately $800.

Oct. 29

A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of Belmont. Someone broke a window of a parked vehicle and took a purse from the auto.

Oct. 31

Lasummer Jones, 19, of the 700 block of Meadowview Drive in Mendota, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Kirsten Williams, 23, of the 700 block of Meadowview Drive in Mendota, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Nov. 2

Derek Lindsey, 22, of the 7000 block of Pyramid Drive in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Road.

Nov. 3

Rao Bhullar, 39, was charged with disorderly conduct. The arrest occurred in the 1300 block of Marquette.

Victor Mata, 24, of the 31400 block of Prestwick Dr. in Crest Hill, was charged with driving under the influence, driving while license restricted, no insurance, failure to give information, failure to report accident to police, disobey traffic control device, leaving scene of an accident and unsafe tires. The arrest occurred in the area of Route 53 and Romeo Road.

A residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of Rogers. Someone took two televisions, a laptop, gaming console, computer tablet, shoes and jewelry from the residence. Estimated cost of the items taken is $3,270.

A retail theft was reported in the 0-100 block of Alexander. A person took a Cubs towel with a value of $24.99 from the business.

Nov. 4

A criminal damage to property was reported in the 300 block of Macon. Someone threw a brick at a section of plastic fence putting a hole in the fence. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $200.

Nov. 7

A criminal damage to property was reported in the 1800 block of Grassy Knoll Drive. Someone using a BB gun damaged a window of the residence and a parked car. Estimated amount of damage is $200.
