Retail Theft, Unlawful Use of ID, Pot: Romeoville Blotter
Arrests occurred between March 28 and April 10.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
March 28
Eric Corral, 21, of Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, no insurance and possession of drug equipment. The arrest occurred in the area of Taylor and Weber.
Benny Grieco, 20, of the 400 block of Willow Rd. in New Lenox, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and unlawful use of identification. The arrest occurred at Taylor and Weber.
March 29
Alejandra Mejia, 24, of the 800 block of W. Bluff Rd. in Joliet, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Weber Rd.
April 2
A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested in the 200 block of South Weber for retail theft.
April 7
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of drug equipment, possession of tobacco and obstructing identification. The arrest occurred at Taylor and Weber.
April 9
Danette Peters, 48, of the 1200 block of Santa Fe Drive in Romeoville, was charged with battery. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of North Weber.
A criminal damage to property was reported in the 500 block of Belmont. Someone using a BB gun damaged a window and siding at the property. Damage is estimated at $200.
April 12
A theft over $500 was reported in the 600 block of Gavin. Someone took four rims and tires from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. Estimated value of the items taken is $1,600.
