ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville held a ribbon cutting Monday for the newly renovated Meadowalk Park.
The park at 500 Honeytree Drive was due for a renovation, as its playground equipment had been originally installed in 2005.
Plans for the redevelopment included new playground equipment, a shelter, walkway improvements and landscaping.

The Village said it currently maintains 32 parks and 358.24 acres of park space.
