Romeoville Area Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

ROMEOVILLE, IL — If you're looking to avoid cooking, or have lunch or dinner with family and friends outside your home, several restaurants will be open in and around Romeoville on Thanksgiving Day.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

Some restaurants may be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but are still offering catering options or Thanksgiving meals to-go:

• Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive, Bolingbrook. The dinner buffet at the golf club is sold out, but there are still Thanksgiving to-go meals available. Pick-up is between noon to 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 23; contact Jill Maldonado at 630-679-5013 to order.
• McWethy's Tavern, 1700 W. Renwick Road, Romeoville. The tavern is offering catering, which can be picked up on Nov. 22. Orders must be placed by Nov. 17. The menu includes turkey, ham, smashed potatoes, green beans, potato mash, stuffing, gravy, pumpkin pie and apple pie.
• Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant, 2307 E Lincoln Highway, New Lenox; 815-320-7500. Reservations encouraged.
• JBD White Horse Inn, 348 W. Maple St. New Lenox. 9 a.m.- 1 a.m. (bar only)
