Romeoville Blotter: Man Charged with Fleeing Cops

Dec. 5

Brandon Gutzmer, 20, of the 1500 block of Hundley in Hoffman Estates was arrested at Route 53 and Chambers and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Patrick Cosgriff, 20, of the 200 block of Wickham Drive, Schaumburg, was arrested at Route 53 and Chambers and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Enrique Arroyo, 29, of the 8100 block of Keating in Skokie was arrested at Route 53 and Enterprise and charged with DUI, no insurance, speeding and possession of cannabis, police said.

Dec. 6

Charles Howard, 37, of the 1700 block of Raleigh Trail was arrested at Weber and Airport roads and charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, fleeing and eluding, disobeying a police officer, disobeying a traffic sign and disobeying a traffic-control device, police said.

Cory Gould, 20, of the 12000 block of Blue Iris Lane, Plainfield, was arrested in the 200 block of Hemlock and charged with possession of cannabis, illegal consumption of alcohol and attempted obstruction, according to police.

Dec. 11

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested at a business in the 300 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, resisting an officer and possession of tobacco by a minor, police said.

Ezell Lucas, 23, of the 7500 block of Champlain, Chicago, was arrested at a business in the 300 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Danielle Hatley, 21, of the 14000 block of Weller Drive, Plainfield; and Ismael Nieto, 19, of the 1600 block of Richfield Trail, Plainfield, were arrested in the 1700 block of Christopher Court and charged with criminal trespassing to a residence and possession of cannabis, police said.

Dec. 12

Andrew Smith, 53, of the 200 block of McKool, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, according to police.

Dec. 16

Malachai Coleman, 21, of the 1900 block of Wedgeport Circle was arrested at Budler Road and Weslake Parkway and charged with possession of drug equipment and booked on an in-state warrant, police said.
