Romeoville Blotter: Reckless Driving, Aggravated Battery, Cannabis Arrests

Dec. 30
Charity Navito, 37, of the 900 block of Longwood, Joliet, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road and charged with retail theft, police said.

Erick McCord, 18, of the 1400 block of Snapdragon, was arrested at 12:36 a.m. at Creekside and Weber and charged with illegal possession of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested on charges of curfew violation, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal possession of alcohol and making an improper turn, police said.

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at 5:05 p.m. on Belmont north of Taylor Road on charges of possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, police said. Paul Playo, 18, of the 25000 block of Pauline, Plainfield, was also arrested and charged with speeding, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment and driving without a valid license, according to police.

William Flanigan, 18, of the 300 block of Independence, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. in the 700 block of Independence on charges of reckless driving and aggravated battery, police said.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested at 10:12 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Weber on a charge of retail theft, police said.

Sylvester Jones, 20, of the 400 block of 80th Street, Chicago, was arrested at 8:38 p.m. in the 300 block of Innovation on a charge of battery, police said.
Jan. 10
Enrique Pintor, 18, of the 100 block of Monterey, was arrested at 5:13 p.m. in the 500 block of Hamrick on an in-state warrant and charge of illegal consumption of alcohol, police said.
Jan. 14
Vincent Johnson, 18, of the 400 block of Garland, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:26 p.m. on a charge of battery, police said.
