Romeoville Board Approves Contracts For Resurfacing Projects
Contracts for the Airport Road resurfacing project, and for the Normantown Road frontage road project were approved.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Village Board approved a contract for the Airport Road resurfacing project, and a contract for the Normantown Road frontage road project.
The Airport Road resurfacing project is approved to receive $300,000 in grant funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, according to Board documents.
P.T. Ferro Construction was the low bidder, with a bid of $736,699. $850,000 has been allocated in this year's budget for the project.

The Board also approved a contract for the Normantown Road frontage road rehabilitation project. The project has received $150,000 in grant funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, according to Board documents.
The low bidder was Orange Crush LLC, with a bid of $189,787.49. $200,000 has been allocated in this year's budget for the project, board documents state.
