The Village of Romeoville held an official Ground Breaking ceremony for the Uptown Square Retail Center at the northwest corner of Route 53 and Alexander Circle in front of the Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center.
"We look forward to the opening of this Center as this will bring additional retail along the Route 53 corridor, as well as attracting new development in the immediate area," said Mayor Noak.
The site plan includes a 9,400 square foot retail center. BMO Harris Bank is anticipated to be one of the first tenants for the Center. Construction is expected to be completed this Fall.
