Romeoville Burglar Sold Stolen Computer Equipment: Police

Burglary arrest

Steven J. Knoth, 35, of 702 Honeytree, was arrested Jan. 31 on charges of burglary and felony theft stemming from a Jan. 19 incident, Romeoville police said. Police said Knoth stole a computer and printer from an open garage. Detectives investigating the case later found that Knoth has sold the stolen goods to someone else, according to Romeoville police. Police said Knoth was brought in for questioning and confessed to the burglary.

DUI

Federico Ortiz, 41, of 722 Misty Ridge, was arrested by Romeoville police Jan. 31 on charges of aggravated DUI, DUI, disregarding a stop sign and driving on a suspended license, according to jail records.
