Romeoville Chamber Hosts Gather And Give Open House

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Chamber of Commerce will host a Gather & Give open house on Dec. 14, and will assemble comfort bags to give to Meals on Wheels.

According to the Chamber, you do not need to be a chamber member to participate in the open house. The open house will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 14 at With Love Venue, 338 S. Budler Road, in Romeoville.

A casual lunch will be provided, according to the chamber website. It is $25 for members and $35 for future members; proceeds will be used to purchase supplies.

The Chamber said the comfort bags will include things like hand sanitizers, hand lotion, lip balm, facial wipes, hand wipes, dry shampoo, glasses cleaner, clothes, large crossword puzzles, and holiday cards. The comfort bags will be given to Meals on Wheels servicing seniors in Romeoville and the surrounding communities.
