Romeoville Chamber Launches New Monthly Membership Meetings

The first meeting of Connect-Educate-Build will be held Sept. 28 at Mistwood Golf Club.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce is launching a new monthly membership meeting, according to a release. The first meeting of Connect-Educate-Build will be held Sept. 28 at Mistwood Golf Club.

This monthly gathering is designed to enrich professional development and expand networking opportunities for local businesses, according to a release.

Mary Kay Campbell, CEO/President of the Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce said, “these
meetings will provide valuable insights, knowledge, and inspiration to support professional growth while expanding their circle for networking.”

“Businesses are enthusiastic about connecting and engaging, and the chamber's primary focus is on delivering tangible benefits to its members and assisting them in their professional development,” said Campbell. Campbell took over the helm at the Romeoville Chamber in June.

"In a world where resources define success, the Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce pledges to connect, empower and uplift. The Connect-Educate-Build Monthly Membership Meeting is more than a gathering—it's our commitment to providing local businesses the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in today's dynamic landscape," Chamber Chairwoman Yolanda Farmer said in a release.

The speaker at this month's event will be Shanee Hunter, from HR Philosophy. Hunter will cover HR best practices, compliance items, employee relations and more, according to the Chamber.

The next meeting will be Nov. 2, and feature a guest speaker from the United States Secret Service, who will raise awareness on financial fraud.
