Romeoville Contributes to Food Pantries, Senior Grocery Service

Romeoville will be making donations to local food pantries and a donation to the Will County Senior Service Grocery Delivery Initiative.

The Village of Romeoville will be making $1,000 donations to local food pantries (We Care Pantry, Romeoville Community Pantry, and the DuPage Township Food Pantry) and a $2,500 donation to the Will County Senior Service Grocery Delivery Initiative, which has already delivered more than 1,000 packages to seniors.

“Romeoville is fortunate to have so many groups helping those who are struggling,” stated Mayor John Noak. “This pandemic has seen a surge of those in need, and these organizations are, in some cases, helping nearly double the number of families than normal. We hope our contributions will assist them in restocking their shelves so they can continue to do important work in our community.”

If you would like to make a contribution or volunteer to these organizations, you can reach them at the phone numbers below.
