Romeoville Couple Tied to Cocaine, Gun & Money Laundering Case: Cops
A Romeoville woman was arrested but her boyfriend remains at large.

A Romeoville couple was tied to a money-laundering plot.
Nancy Thang, 26, of 305 Kent Ave. was taken into custody last week and jailed on a money laundering charge. Richard Conley, also 26 and a resident of 305 Kent Ave., remains at large. In addition to money laundering, Conley is wanted on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of a firearm without an owner’s identification card.
Conley was allegedly packing a Bersa pistol and planned on dealing more than 15 grams of cocaine. He and Thang were charged with money laundering for allegedly transporting more than $10,000 from their home.

Thang was released from jail Monday after posting 10 percent of a $30,000 bond. Her attorney, Paul Napolski, got the bond reduced from $250,000 earlier in the day.
The warrant for Conley’s arrest carries a $300,000 bond.
