Romeoville Fire Department Gives Holiday Fire Safety Tips

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Fire Department is urging residents to help it "keep the wreath red," and practice holiday fire safety.
The department has placed wreaths, illuminated with red bulbs, at all three Romeoville fire stations, the department said. If a fire occurs during the holiday season, and holiday decorations are determined to be involved, one of the red light bulbs will be changed to a white light bulb.
The wreaths serve as a reminder of safety precautions that should be taken during the holiday season, the department said.
