Romeoville Fire Department Open House is Oct. 11
Event features family activities, demonstrations and tours.
Families are invited to Romeoville Fire Department’s 2014 Open House, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Station 3, 698 N. Birch.
The free event coincides with National Fire Prevention Month. This year’s theme is “Smoke Alarms Save Lives: Test Yours Every Month.”
The event will include family oriented activities, demonstrations, firehouse tours, giveaways and a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog.
