Romeoville High School to Celebrate Homecoming Sept. 29-Oct. 4
This year's theme is "Night Without Light."

Romeoville High School is planning a week-long series of festivities to mark Homecoming 2014, culminating in a football game on Oct. 3 and dance on Oct. 4.
With a theme of “Night Without Light,” the fun gets underway on Monday, Sept. 29, with pajama day during the day and movie night behind the visitors’ bleachers on the football field starting at dusk around 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 29 is sports day during the school day followed by the annual dodgeball tournament at 7 p.m. in the field house. The entry fee is $10 per team.

During the day on Wednesday, it is Camo vs. Tie Dye Day. That evening, starting at 6 p.m., it will be the annual community carnival with a $1 entry fee and plenty of food and games.
Thursday, Oct. 2, is clothing mismatch day. Students and community members are then invited to a cookout at 4:30 in the parking lot behind the concession stand prior to an RHS varsity volleyball contest against Plainfield East and a 7 p.m. powder puff football game.

Following a color wars dress up contest during the day on Friday, Oct. 3, and a student-only pep assembly at 1 p.m., the Spartans sophomores will take on Plainfield South in a 4:30 p.m. football game followed by the varsity contest at 7 p.m.
The Homecoming Dance is from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday featuring Boom Entertainment. Tickets are available for $25 at lunch prior to the event or for $30 at the door.
