Romeoville High School to Stage 'Daddy's Girl'

Performances start Nov. 7.

Zany characters, comic chaos and much more await theatre goers when Romeoville High School presents “Daddy’s Girl” on stage Nov. 7, 9, 14 and 15.

Benard Muloovy (Dalton DeVries) is the proprietor of Maudie’s Diner whose deceased wife, Maudie (Lindsay Murray), takes up residence as a talking portrait on the diner wall. Maudie enlists the services of an angel named Michael (Jacob Peter Lee) to reunite Benard with their long lost daughter, Elizabeth. Michael delivers two Elizabeths and Benard’s task is to decide which young woman is his real daughter.

The curtain goes up at 7 p.m. each night except Nov. 9 which will be a 2 p.m. show.

Other members of the cast include: Bob—Kelley Beggs, Walter—Keagan Adams, Betsy—Gabi Suliga, Darlynn—Abbey Brand, E.L.—Lucille Miller, Alex—Jalen Jones, Daisy—Carmen Awin-ongya, Violet—Rachel Fox, Lizzy—Haley Cirar, Big Earl Ella—Triana James, and extra—Zach Skibinski.

Sarah West is Director and Kristen Bogusz is Assistant Director. Rachel Fox is Student Director and Charles Niebling heads up set design and construction.

Ticket, available at the door, are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Children under 10 will be admitted free.
