Romeoville Holiday Lights Display Will Begin Dec. 1

Dec. 1 also marks the Village's annual tree lighting, which will be held at 5 p.m. on that day.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A favorite part of the holiday season, holiday light displays will soon return to towns across the Chicago area.

In Romeoville, the Village's holiday lights display will begin on Dec. 1 and run through Jan. 1.

Dec. 1 also marks the Village's annual tree lighting, which will be held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. The Village's holiday lights festival will be held on Dec. 1-2, and include a parade, holiday market, live reindeer, food trucks and more.

The lights will be displayed throughout December on the grounds of Village Hall and the Romeoville Police Department, at 1050 W. Romeo Road, according to the Village.

Lights will be on nightly from 4 to 11 p.m. through Jan. 1.
