Romeoville Homeowner Finds Bullet Hole in Bedroom Wall

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville homeowner got a bit of a surprise when a bullet hole was found in a bedroom wall.

According to the Romeoville Police Department Cmdr. John Ferdinardo, police received a call at around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday for the incident in the 1800 block of Sierra Trail.

When the officer arrived, a bullet hole was located on the rear of the home. The trajectory seemed to indicate that the bullet entered the exterior siding just below the soffit and traveled into an interior wall and then into the ceiling.

None of the occupants inside the home were injured. Police are still investigating.
