Romeoville HS Band Boosters Hold Second Annual Scavenger Hunt

Participants will explore holiday decorations around town, look for items and solve riddles.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville High School band will hold its second annual holiday scavenger hunt at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The event was first created by the Romeoville High School Band Boosters last year as a means to bring the community safely together, according to the booster association. The event was met with great success last year, and it is now slated to become an annual event.

It is $20 per group/car to enter the scavenger hunt, the boosters said. Participants will explore holiday decorations around town, look for items and solve riddles. The event will begin at the Romeoville High School parking lot, and the hunt will begin at 6:15 p.m.

Participants will take a photo of each item they need, and each item on the list will be scored accordingly based on difficulty. According to the boosters, participants should make their way back to the school by 8 p.m. The first person back with the most points will win the grand prize, and second place will also receive a prize.

Each participant is also automatically entered into a raffle for two additional prizes, the association said.
