Romeoville HS to Offer College Prep Workshops

Romeoville High School students and their parents will have an opportunity to learn more about the college application and admissions process through a series of five free workshops and several special information sessions sponsored by the RHS Student Services Department, according to a release from the school.

●Wednesday, Sept. 23—The College Admission Process

●Tuesday, Oct. 20—College 101 (application, financial aid and scholarships) presented by Lewis University

●Thursday, Nov. 5, and Friday, Nov. 6—College and Career Readiness resource tables staffed by Rasmussen College experts will be available in the Guidance Office during Parent/Teacher Conferences.

●Tuesday, Nov. 17—Financial aid and scholarships presented by Southern University.

●Thursday, Feb. 25, and Friday, Feb. 26—FAFSA completion workshops will take place in the RHS Computer Lab during Parent/Teacher Conferences.

●Tuesday, March 8—After College Acceptance: Now what?

●Tuesday, April 12—(For juniors) Starting the College Search

All of the workshops begin at 6 p.m. in the RHS Little Theatre.
