Romeoville HS Student Wins At JJC Art Show
Senior Michael Kowalkowski won the Advanced Ceramics category.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Romeoville High School senior earned first place overall at the Joliet Junior College Art Show, according to a release from Valley View School District.
Senior Michael Kowalkowski won the Advanced Ceramics category, the district said.
Michael's creation, "Seven Deadly Sins," included ceramic representations of greed, sloth, wrath, envy, pride, gluttony and lust.

Joliet Junior College holds a high school art exhibition each fall, which showcases the hard work of high school art students, according to the college's website. The exhibit includes painting, drawing, 3D sculpture, ceramics, and design.
