Romeoville Man Wanted In Connection to Shooting of Business Owner: Authorities
Police say man shot owner of transportation company where he used to work in Coal City, Herald-News reports.

Police have issued a $1 million warrant for a Romeoville man who is wanted in connection to a shooting in Coal City, the Herald-News reported.
Walter L. Webster, 28, of Romeoville, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm, authorities said.
Police responded to a report of shots fired at a Shell gas station at 725 E. Division St., in Coal City last Wednesday evening.

When police arrived on the scene, officers found Adam Fierro, of Braidwood, the owner of Horse Shoe Transportation Company, bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, the Herald-News said.
Police said that Fierro’s vehicle had struck an unoccupied vehicle at the Shell station after he had been shot.

Fierro told police he was being dropped off near his own vehicle parked near the gas station by an employee when he got shot, the paper said. The employee left without witnessing the shooting.
Webster is believed to an ex-employee of Horse Shoe Transportation Company, police said.
Webster is described as being 5-feet-11-inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police believe the shooting to be an isolated incident. Fierro’s cell phone was ceased as evidence at the crime scene.
Fierro was airlifted to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood where he remains in stable condition.
