Romeoville To Offer Free Car Seat Safety Check
According to Safe Ride 4 Kids, 96% of parents believe their child safety seats are installed correctly.
ROMEOVILLE, IL - Anywhere from 72% to 84% of child restraints show critical misuses, according to Safe Ride 4 Kids. The most common forms of misuse are using the wrong seat for the child’s age and weight, loose safety belt attachment to the car seat and loose harness straps on the child.
The Village of Romeoville wants to make sure that your child's car seat is properly installed.
Parents are encouraged to come to the Romeoville Fire Department's FREE Child Safety Seat Check at Fire Station #3 which is located at 698 N. Birch Lane on Nov. 15 from 3-5 p.m.
