Romeoville PD Supports Special Olympics With Coffee For Champions

Coffee for Champions will be held Friday from 5 a.m. to noon at Dunkin' Romeoville locations, at 239 S. Weber and 649 N. Independence Blvd.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville Police Department will participate in Coffee for Champions, and help rally support for local Special Olympics athletes. According to Special Olympics Illinois, this is the 18th anniversary of the Dunkin' partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois.

Coffee for Champions will be held Friday from 5 a.m. to noon at two Dunkin' Romeoville locations, at 239 S. Weber and 649 N. Independence Boulevard.

According to Special Olympics Illinois, law enforcement officers will be at more than 300 Dunkin' locations across Illinois, including in Romeoville.

Guests can stop by and make a donation to the Torch Run and receive a coupon for a free donut. If you donate $10, you will receive a free travel mug and a coupon for a medium hot coffee.
