Romeoville Property Tax Levy May Remain the Same
The levy is looking to be consistent with 2014's rate.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — It appears that Romeoville’s property tax levy will stay consistent with last year’s rate.
Romeoville Finance Director Kirk Openchowski told the Chicago Tribune that the levy amount is similar to 2014’s.
“The cost of the typical homeowner will remain the same and our total levy will go up by less than 1 percent,” Openchowski told the Chicago Tribune.
Residents with homes valued at $166,000 will pay $739 in property taxes, the Tribune reported.
