Romeoville’s 5th Ornament Features Public Works Department
The Village of Romeoville's holiday ornament series plows ahead with its 5th installment, this time celebrating the Public Works Department.

The Village of Romeoville’s holiday ornament series plows ahead with its 5th installment, this time celebrating the Public Works Department. Originally formed on November 5, 1958, the Public Works Department has been keeping Romeoville running for nearly 70 years.
This ornament features a blue snowplow clearing the road in front of the Public Works Administration Building as snow continues to fall. Six snowflakes dance around the silver frame that is inscribed with Romeoville Public Works and 2026. Measuring 3.50” long by 2.25” high, this brass ornament is finished in rhodium silver and is made in America. It comes in a silver box with black lining and the Village of Romeoville logo stamped on the lid in black.
“Many people look forward to these ornaments every year,” said Mayor Noak. “We love that these pieces are making Romeoville a part of holiday traditions throughout the village and beyond.”
