Romeoville Schools With The Best Teachers For 2020

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The beginning of the school year is a good time to do a little research on how your teachers stack up against others — whether you’re sending your children to kindergarten for the first time or if they’re preparing to graduate.

Niche, which rates everything in education, has created a list of what it considers the schools with the best teachers in Romeoville.

According to Niche.com, the rankings are based on seven factors: academic grades, parent/student surveys on teachers, teacher absenteeism, teacher salary index, teachers in their first or second year, average teacher salary and the student-teacher ratio.

Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora has the best teacher in the state, according to the rankings. With 647 total students in the school, and a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, the academy had both an A+ rating in teachers and overall niche grade. New Trier High School was second on the list.

Of the Bolingbrook-area schools, the highest ranking school within the
Valley View School Distict is Jane Addams Middle School, which came in
at No. 14 for area schools with the best teachers. Of the top 20 local
schools with the best teachers, only two are in Valley View: Jane Addams
and Pioneer Elementary School, which was No. 19. Oak Prairie Junior High School in Homer Glen was the top ranked local school for teachers, according to Niche.
