Romeoville Seeking Part-Time Firefighters
Applicants must be an Illinois certified Basic Operations Firefighter or have graduated from an approved BOF program.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Fire Department is currently accepting applications for part-time firefighter/paramedics and firefighter/EMTs. EMT applicants must be an Illinois certified Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or have graduated from an approved BOF program. For paramedic applicants, BOF certification is preferred but not required. All applicants must have a current valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certification by the time of hire.
According to the village, part-time staff work 12 or 24 hour shifts every third day. Benefits include:
