Romeoville Sponsors Operation Christmas Program For Holiday Season

If you are in need of assistance from the program, you must register online by Nov. 16.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — To bring a little more cheer to the holiday season, the Village of Romeoville will again sponsor an Operation Christmas program.

This program supports families in need during the holiday season, bringing toys, clothes and gift certifications to children, and provides an opportunity for residents or businesses to "adopt" a family through the program, according to the Village website.

If you are in need of assistance from the program, you must register online by Nov. 16. Those who register will be based on the number of years they have received assistance. The Village said that those who have been assisted by the program at least three times in the past five years will go on a waiting list.
