Romeoville, State Reps. Hold Community Shred Day
There will be a two box maximum per vehicle.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville and state representatives Natalie Manley and Dagmara Avelar will host a community shred day on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the village hall parking lot, 1050 W. Romeo Road, in Romeoville.
“Shredding documents with personally identifiable information on them is a great way to prevent identity theft while clearing out clutter from your home,” Manley in a news release from her office. “I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to safely and securely discard their unwanted papers.”
Shred Day is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of documents with personal information on them that could make them targets for identity theft, like medical records or bank statements, according to a news release. There will be a two box maximum per vehicle.
