Romeoville High School students came home with five major awards from the Southwest Prairie Conference art competition at Oswego East, according to a release from Valley View School District 365U.
Joana Zych led the way with a first place digital photography.
The Spartans grabbed two second places: Emilynn Murillo in printmaking and Vicky Zuchara in wheel-thrown ceramics.
Third place finishes went to Alex Rosendahl in wheel-thrown ceramics and Justin Moyolt in computer generated art.
Leslie Sandoval, Sarah Romy, Marie DeLaFuente, Joana Zyeh, Mia Monroy and Alexandria Ziebarth also participated.
