Romeoville Students Get Look at College Newspaper

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Martinez Middle School Newspaper Club students and their faculty sponsors had an opportunity to visit the North Central College Media Studies and Journalism Department in mid February.

The students toured the Naperville campus, meet with a college news gathering class before heading out to interview people on campus and writing a short article, viewed an editors’ planning meeting for the next issue of the campus newspaper, The Chronicle, and talked with editors about how to improve their writing skills.

The Martinez students will be featured in a Chronicle article in the near future.
