WeAct Club members are hard at work during lunchtime this week encouraging fellow students to put loose change in cups labeled with teachers’ names. Any teacher whose entire bucket is filled will participate in the pie tossing festival during a Friday assembly.

Money collected through the “We Create Change” campaign will go to Pennies for Peace, an organization that works to bring hope and educational opportunities to children in Central Asia. Family and Consumer Science classes at Lukancic learned about Pennies for Peace in one of their units and wanted to help raise money for the group.
