Romeoville Will Hold Three Fireworks Shows On July 3

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville will hold three fireworks shows at different locations to celebrate Independence Day on July 3.

Holding three shows allows residents to view fireworks from their homes, according to the Village website.

The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. July 3, and will be shot off from Lukancic Middle School, 725 Normantown Road; Volunteer Park, 1100 Murphy Drive; and Discovery Park, 300 S. Highpoint Drive.

The parking lots at these facilities will be closed starting at 9 a.m. on July 3. Attendance at these sites will be restricted.

The village said choreographed music will be available on Star 96.7 FM radio.
