Scene75 Plans Grand Opening Festivities, Ribbon Cutting

The grand opening will kick off at 10:45 a.m. on Sept. 23.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Scene75, which opened last month, will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting event on Sept. 23 and Sept. 24.

The indoor amusement park and entertainment center, at 460 S. Weber Road, offers electric go-karts, spinning roller coaster, spinning two-story drop tower, arcade games, two-story laser tag, two mini golf courses, inflatable bouncing and toddler area, bumper cars, mini-bowling, batting cages, a laser maze, a food court, sweet shop and private party rooms.

The grand opening will kick off at 10:45 a.m. on Sept. 23, and the first 300 guests to attend will receive a free ride on either the Drop Tower or Roller Coaster. In the evening, from 4 to 7 p.m., guests can challenge a Romeoville firefighter to an arcade game to win a prize.

Festivities resume on Sept. 24, which will offer free face painting from 11 a.m. to noon, balloon animals from noon to 1 p.m., and the chance to "race a cop" at go-karts from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests can challenge a Romeoville police officer on the go-kart track for the chance to win a prize.
